reads my diary, even though it has a lock. I've already tried talking to her about it. Help, please!

WOW! Busting into your diary is a big no-no and, since you've already talked to your BFF, be firm. Make her understand that, if she disrespects your privacy, she is not welcome in your bedroom. You could also get a new diary--and a spygirl-proof hiding spot for it. Then, write in your old diary, "This is meant for my eyes only, and a good friend would never be reading this because it is an invasion!" She should get the point loud and clear.

My boobs are way bigger than all the other girls my age, and guys tease me and say mean things. How can I let it go?

Most well-endowed women, like Jessica Simpson and Salma Hayek, have grown to appreciate their curves, and you likely will, too, one day. For now, when guys tease you, simply smile, say, "I like my body," and walk away. Remind yourself that every time an immature guy makes a comment about your chest, it's because he's in awe of it. But if this continues to be a problem, consider talking to a school counselor about it.

My parents are way overprotective. I can't do anything without supervision. I'm 14 and can handle things. I feel locked up, and I'm getting depressed.

Your parents don't keep you under lock and key lock and key, fastening fitted to an entryway, such as a gate or door, or a container, such as a cabinet, drawer or safe, to keep it closed and/or prevent unauthorized access or use. Locks typically consist of a sliding, pivoted, or rotary bolt protected by a fixed or movable object. A lock may be opened by a mechanical, magnetic, electric, electronic, or electromechanical key or by employing a code or sequence of numbers or letters. to make you miserable--it's because they care enough to keep you safe. Still, it can drive a girl crazy to feel like she has no freedom. Let your parents know you feel ready to take on more responsibility. Tell them you're not asking to suddenly do anything you want but that you just want to take small steps toward teen-appropriate independence. Hopefully, they will gradually let you do more things on your own.

I am emotionally tough with guys and really don't let them get to know me. I've never had a BF, but I really want one. I think I am afraid of getting hurt. What should I do?

No one wants to get hurt but, when you avoid relationships, you miss out on the great things about getting close to people. Truth is, there's a chance someone, whether a boy or a bud, will hurt you at some point in life. Still, the risk is worth it because you'll make strong ties along the way and learn about interacting with others. So, slowly allow yourself to open up. Ira guy treats you well, soften up. Be cautious, just not rock-solid.
