Printrak Awarded Contracts in Colorado Worth $5 Million.

) today announced that it has been awarded two contracts totaling approximately $5 million with the cities of Fort Collins and Aurora Aurora, cities, United States

The contract with the City of Fort Collins Police Service (FCPS FCPS Frederick County Public Schools (Virginia)

) and Fire Departments is for $3.2 million and provides for a fully integrated suite of products, including computer-aided dispatch (Premier CAD(TM)) with the Automated au·to·mate

Mobile computing implies wireless transmission, but wireless transmission does not necessarily imply mobile computing. Fixed wireless applications use satellites, radio systems and lasers to transmit between permanent objects such as buildings  capabilities and law records management.

The contract also includes a fire records management system developed by SunPro Inc. and the court management system, FullCourt(R), developed by Justice Systems Inc.

The contract with the City of Aurora Police and Fire Departments is for $1.8 million and includes Printrak's computer-aided dispatch (Premier CAD(TM)) featuring AVL and Advanced Tactical Mapping Mobile(TM) (ATMM ATMM Atm Management (Cisco)
ATMM Active Thermal Math Models
ATMM Air Traffic Management Manual
). This contract marks the first phase of a multi-phase, larger scale public systems project in the city of Aurora.

The FCPS currently uses Printrak's photo imaging system, and when combined with the new features will be one of the world's first fully integrated Digital Justice Solutions(TM), Printrak's highly regarded, multiple application suite serving the public safety and criminal justice markets.

The enhanced system will automate To turn a set of manual steps into an operation that goes by itself. See automation.  business processes of the FCPS while improving efficiency and safety for the police and fire department's personnel. Printrak's state-of-the-art technology will also provide FCPS with bar coding and imaging systems for a comprehensive solution for property, evidence and document tracking capabilities.

The Aurora CAD project will initially include AVL and ATMM sub systems and, in the second phase, will provide the police and fire agencies with Mobile Computing and Field Based Reporting capabilities. Aurora police and fire personnel will be able to download event, report and pin map data from their vehicles.
