Principal Capital(SM), a member of the Principal Financial Group(R), today announced the appointment of Gloria Reeg as head of its $47 billion global fixed income business.

Reeg has been named president of Principal Capital's dedicated fixed income asset management affiliate, Principal Capital Income Investors. In this new position, Reeg will also lead the coordination of fixed income investment operations for Principal Capital's international affiliates. She will expand Principal Capital's presence in the global institutional marketplace, drawing upon the expertise of over 90 fixed income investment professionals. This expertise spans all major market sectors and covers debt markets in more than 50 countries.
