Previo Promotes Key Sales Executives; eSupport Technical Service Group Moves Into Engineering Organization.

Previo (Nasdaq:PRVO), an innovative provider of eSupport products and services for enterprise Help Desk and Desktop Services organizations, today announced two promotions within its sales organization.

Effective immediately Mary Tucker is managing director, Americas and Pacific Rim Pacific Rim, term used to describe the nations bordering the Pacific Ocean and the island countries situated in it. In the post–World War II era, the Pacific Rim has become an increasingly important and interconnected economic region.  Sales and is now responsible for all channel sales in those areas. Tucker was previously director of business development. Also effective immediately Kevin Thiele Kevin R. Thiele is curator of the Western Australian Herbarium. Gerry Callanan, who previously filled this position, is leaving the company but will continue to work in a consulting capacity over the coming months.

Since joining Previo in November 2000, Tucker successfully launched the company's channel expansion to reach managed service providers that support world-class Fortune 2000 companies. Over the course of her career, Tucker has held a variety of sales and management positions building a track record of success. Prior to Previo, Tucker spent 13 years at Anacomp in a variety of sales roles including vice president of indirect sales, area business unit manager for the southwest region as well as several major account sales positions. During her tenure at Anacomp, she managed sales teams that repeatedly outperformed revenue, profit and market expansion goals.

Thiele is a seasoned executive with more than 15 years of proven sales and marketing experience in Europe's technology industries. Previously, Thiele headed the corporate sales operations in the U.K. offices of Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq:SYMC SYMC Symantec Corporation (stock symbol) ), and worked for a variety of other high-profile technology organizations including ClickNet Software, AST (AST Computer, Irvine, CA) A PC manufacturer founded in 1980 by Albert Wong, Safi Quershey and Tom Yuen (A, S and T). It offered a complete line of PCs that sold through its dealer channel. , Logitech and LG Electronics. Since joining Previo, Thiele has consistently exceeded the expectations for revenue contributions from his operation. His team has secured business from high profile companies such as Motorola, Remedy, Schroeders and AC Nielsen.

Jim Nicol, a five-year veteran of the company, is also responsible for product development, quality assurance, documentation and IT infrastructure.
