From Brooklyn Brooklyn (brk`lĭn), borough of New York City (1990 pop. 2,300,664), 71 sq mi (184 sq km), coextensive with Kings co., SE N.Y.  to the Bronx Bronx, river, c.20 mi (30 km) long, issuing from Kensico Reservoir, SE N.Y., and flowing SW through the Bronx into the East River. The Bronx River Parkway, one of the first limited-access highways in the New York City area, parallels a portion of the river. , CityParks Dance outdoor series is bringing the heat--and it's free! , kicks off July 14 with Ron K. Brown/Evidence and Nadia Dieudonne & Feet of Rhythm, whose work is rooted in her Afro-Haitian heritage. On July 21, the up-and-coming choreographer cho·re·o·graph

 Camille A. Brown, who has ties throughout the festival (she's a former member of Evidence), will showcase her company alongside Washington Reflections, where she also once danced. Full Circle Soul Productions rounds out the series, keeping it real in the Bronx on July 28. Holla!
