bringing the heat--and it's free! The festival, which takes place
in public parks throughout NYC NYCabbr. New York City NYC New York City , kicks off July 14 with Ron K. Brown/Evidence and Nadia Dieudonne & Feet of Rhythm, whose work is rooted in her Afro-Haitian heritage. On July 21, the up-and-coming choreographer cho·re·o·graph v. cho·re·o·graphed, cho·re·o·graph·ing, cho·re·o·graphs v.tr. 1. To create the choreography of: choreograph a ballet. 2. Camille A. Brown, who has ties throughout the festival (she's a former member of Evidence), will showcase her company alongside Washington Reflections, where she also once danced. Full Circle Soul Productions rounds out the series, keeping it real in the Bronx on July 28. Holla! |
