PressONE Event Sponsors Win Awards at NetWorld+Interop.


LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 18, 1999--

On Monday, May 10, in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States. , 19 companies sponsored the PressONE press reception on the night before the NetWorld+Interop tradeshow opened.

Several sponsors of the event presented sneak previews of their new products being announced during the next three days of the tradeshow. The event was well-attended by top-tier press and analysts, who got hot-off-the-press announcements and product releases before their release to the public the next day at the tradeshow.

Aironet Wireless Communications Aironet is a maker of wireless networking equipment currently operated as a division of Cisco Systems. It was started by ex-Marconi Wireless employees in 1986 as Telesystems SLW in Canada, right after the United States FCC opened up the ISM bands for spread spectrum license-free  in the Wireless LAN Solution category for their Aironet 4800 Series product.

FlowPoint Corporation in the SOHO Soho (sōhō`, sə–), district of Westminster, London, England, known for its continental restaurants. Once a fashionable quarter, it became popular among writers and artists in the 19th cent.  Router category for their FlowPoint 123 ISDN Router.
