President of Mauritania Stresses His Country's Keenness to Enhance Relations with Syria.

Nouakchott, (SANA) -- President of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz stressed Saturday his country's keenness to enhance relations with Syria in all fields. Receiving Assistant Secretary General of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Abdullah al-Ahmar who conveyed President Bashar al-Assad's greetings, Ould Abdel Aziz appreciated Syria's national stances, stressing his country's standing by Syria in its endeavor to restore the occupied Golan. In turn, the Mauritanian President extended his greetings to President a-Assad and Syrian People. For his part, al-Ahmar assured Syria's care to develop relations between Syria and Mauritania and support Mauritanian People marsh, hailing Mauritania's national stances, on top of which severing ties with Zionist entity. Al-Ahmar also discussed with Secretary General of Mauritania Unionist Democratic Socialist Party Mahfouz Ould Aziz, cooperation relations and the role of Arab political parties and organizations in facing the standing challenges. Ould Aziz appreciated Syria's stances and efforts for unifying the Arab stance and defending Arab Nation's causes.
