CPT has developed a process to make preprinted sheet that can be print-registered on the forming line, thus eliminating expensive merchandising merchandising

CPT's Go-Green preprinted trays are made via a patented thermoforming method that reportedly uses 30% less energy. The company declined to disclose details of its custom-made machinery. Trays are formed from foamed PP sheet or a barrier coextrusion of PP with a PE seal layer.
