Former Cayman Systems and Tekelec executive to lead company in thrust

to create the next generation of fault management solutions.

Premonitia, Inc., the creator of the next generation in fault management, today announced that Peter Vicars has joined the Company as President and Chief Executive Officer. With over 18 years experience as President or CEO, Peter will be instrumental in providing strategies that will shape Premonitia and move the company from start-up to a leadership position in network management. Peter has a diversity of industry experience including market leadership in testing and measurement at Tekelec and innovations in delivering CRM as a service provider at Teloquent.

Peter joins Premonitia from Cayman Systems where he was CEO of during its successful drive to become a leading supplier of intelligent broadband gateway and router products to the Service Provider and Cable marketplaces. Cayman was acquired by Netopia, creating a major entity in the broadband gateway and services space. Prior to Cayman, Peter was CEO of Teloquent a provider of revolutionary virtual call centers and CRM applications for both PSTN and IP networks. Under Peter's leadership as CEO, Tekelec developed EAGLE, an intelligent network platform for scaleable signaling and network applications, and expanded the monitoring and diagnostic tools business into the signaling and wireless markets.

Peter will lead a strong management team and a growing organization that has made built a solid foundation of technology and customer relationships. Ken Vastola, Founder and CTO, brings a unique set of experiences from over 18 years of world-class research at RPI involving both networking and statistical signal processing. Peter Dunbeck, Founder and VP Marketing, has over 20 years of experience leading marketing, product management and business development organizations at NextPoint Networks and Digital Equipment Corporation. Jon Rodin, VP Engineering, joined Premonitia after an 18 year career excelling at both software development, FTP software and network services, Navisite.
