Preliminary program for world foundry congress set.


The World Foundry A semiconductor manufacturer that makes chips for third parties. It may be a large chip maker that sells its excess manufacturing capacity or one that makes chips exclusively for other companies.  Congress 2006 preliminary technical program has been released by the Institute of Cast Metals Engineers The Institute of Cast Metals Engineers (ICME) is a British professional engineering institution founded in 1904. It is licenced by the Engineering Council UK to assess candidates for inclusion on ECUK's Register of professional Engineers and Technicians.  (ICME ICME International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (IEEE)

) and highlights a range of topics on the technological and practical advances required to sustain the global cast metals industry in the future.

More than 120 papers written by authors from more than 35 countries will be presented at the event, which will be held in Harrogate Harrogate (hăr`ōgĭt, –gāt), city (1991 pop. 68,637), North Yorkshire, N central England. It is residential with a tourist and health resort, having more than 80 mineral springs. , U.K., June 5-7.

The program includes contributions from casting engineers, industrialists, metalcasters, academians, buyers and specifiers of castings. A full copy of the preliminary program can be viewed and downloaded at www.wfc2006.com.
