Precision Conversions, LLC to Provide a 757-200PCF Conversion for Ethiopian Cargo.


PORTLAND, Ore. -- Precision Conversions, LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

 (Precision) announced that the company will be providing a 757-200PCF PCF - A simply typed, functional language.

 conversion to Ethiopian Cargo. The aircraft, which is currently being operated in a passenger configuration by Ethiopian Airlines Ethiopian Airlines is an airline based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It is the national airline of Ethiopia, operating scheduled international passenger and freight services to 50 destinations world-wide, as well as domestic services to 28 destinations and passenger and cargo charter , will be pulled from the active fleet and enter conversion on May 7th, 2006. Ethiopian Airlines has embarked on enhancing its cargo operation with the opening of a new cargo terminal facility which will be commissioned on May 5th, 2006. The conversion of the B757 aircraft is part of the Ethiopian Airlines cargo enhancement program.

Brian McCarthy, Precision Conversions' Vice President of Marketing and Sales stated, "Upon reviewing the Ethiopian Cargo requirements, we believe the Precision Conversions 757-200PCF will be an excellent addition to their fleet because it is the only 757 conversion on the market that can achieve both 15 full pallet positions and a 30 metric tonne NET payload."

The modification will take place at the Goodrich ATS facility in Everett, Washington This page is currently protected from editing to deal with vandalism. The 757-200 aircraft that will undergo conversion is Pratt & Whitney 2040 powered and will represent the third Pratt & Whitney powered aircraft that Precision Conversions has converted.

 approval in June of 2005, Precision Conversions has delivered four 757-200PCF freighters to various global customers. The fifth conversion, currently in work, is scheduled to be delivered mid-May 2006.
