Dear editor,

I have been praying for the upcoming General Synod The General Synod is the title of the governing body of some church organizations. Church of England
In the Church of England, General Synod was instituted in 1970 and is the culmination of a process of rediscovering self-government for the Church of England that had
 and all concerned with the important issues that will arise. It has been impressed on me that same-sex unions A Same-sex union refers to an enduring relationship between two people of the same gender.

Literary, historical, and archaeological evidence of such unions has been found for a number of diverse cultures as early as 2400 B.C.
 are not in accordance with God's word.

Homosexuals are no less loved by God than any of the rest of us. I have known many homosexuals and I have treasured their friendship and respected their love of God. The delegates who attend this General Synod need to know that the blessing of same-sex unions will go unanswered by God. We must declare to the homosexuals that we love them in the name of Jesus but to go against the word of the Almighty is out of the question.

The sad thing is if this motion is passed our beloved friends will receive a human blessing but never a holy one. I pray I beg; I request; I entreat you; - used in asking a question, making a request, introducing a petition, etc.; as, Pray, allow me to go s>.
