Pratt & Whitney Canada Delivers 500th PW305 Turbofan Engine to Bombardier Aerospace for Learjet 60.

LONGUEUIL, Quebec--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2000

Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) marked an important milestone today with the delivery of its 500th PW305 turbofan engine to Bombardier Aerospace Bombardier Aerospace is a division of the Bombardier group, with the third largest workforce (behind Boeing and Airbus) and the fourth largest in yearly delivery of commercial airplanes (behind Boeing, Airbus and Embraer). .

The engine powers the Learjet 60 transcontinental business jet, which has become one of the world's best-selling mid-size business jets since being introduced to the market in 1993.
