Praschan receives ASTM award of merit.* Eugene Praschan, a consultant in Fayetteville, NC, has received an award of merit from ASTM International for outstanding leadership in the organization of activities and standards development in committee D01 on paint and related coatings. The honor, which is accompanied by the title of fellow, is the ASTM's highest recognition for individual contributions to standards activities. Among his contributions, Mr. Praschan was responsible for the development of cooperation between ASTM ASTM abbr.
