PowerTV names Bow Rodgers chief operating officer.


CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 12, 1996--PowerTV Inc., a leading developer of operating systems Operating systems can be categorized by technology, ownership, licensing, working state, usage, and by many other characteristics. Bowmar (Bow) Rodgers as chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Rodgers joined PowerTV as vice president of marketing in October 1995 to help the company develop new markets for its standards-based PowerTV (TM) operating system operating system (OS)

In his new role, Rodgers will continue PowerTV's presence in a number of key digital entertainment trials nationwide, and will pursue additional industry partnerships with content developers and hardware manufacturers.

An active industry spokesperson, Rodgers is a member of the Interactive Services Association and the American Management Association.
