PowerNet Global To Launch PowerConnect High Speed Dial-up Internet Access.

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 2004

PowerNet Global Communications, an integrated communications provider offering voice and data telecommunications and Internet services to business and residential customers, today announced the launch of PowerConnect High Speed(TM), a new unlimited dial-up Internet access See dial-up.  service that delivers up to five times faster Web surfing Refers to jumping from page to page on the Web. Just as in "TV channel surfing," where one clicks the remote to go from channel to channel, the hyperlink on Web pages makes it easy to jump from one page to another.  and a pop-up blocker. It requires no additional hardware and works with a regular phone jack. The standard price will be $14.95 per month, with lower prices available when bundled with other PowerNet Global services.

PowerConnect High Speed(TM) utilizes caching and compression technology to provide an accelerated Web surfing experience. By compressing graphics and storing data when a website is accessed, the user experiences up to five times faster Web page loading and surfing. The longer the high speed service is used, the faster websites that the user frequents will load.
