PowerBuilder developers get robust new CM Integration from Softool; CCC products allow PowerBuilder developers to manage individual objects within .PBL libraries.

GOLETA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 5, 1995--Softool Corp., the technological leader in software change and configuration management (CM), Monday announced a revolutionary new interface between the PowerBuilder development environment and Softool's CCC CCC

Using Softool's CCC/Manager or CCC/Harvest, developers who create and maintain applications with PowerBuilder now have access to full-featured CM that includes version management of objects, complete life-cycle modeling and migration, support for multiple application baselines, access control, change packaging, and extensive reporting and metric features.

With an upcoming maintenance release of PowerBuilder 4.0 (to be delivered later this year) and upcoming releases of CCC/Manager and CCC/Harvest, developers will get a bi-directional link between the two products, giving access to check-in and check-out functions from within PowerBuilder and access to PowerBuilder objects from within CCC.
