 and networking organization POWER UP ["Power Players," March 1]. While I applaud Ms. Codikow's hard work in her effort to huff and puff up Verb 1. puff up - make larger or distend; "The estimates were puffed up"
inflate, amplify, expand, blow up - exaggerate or make bigger; "The charges were inflated"

Any self-respecting L.A. lesbian can tell you that POWER UP was founded by three women--Amy Shouter, K. Pearson Brown, and Stacy Codikow--back fit 2000. Why Ms. Codikow is currently publicizing pub·li·cize

 herself as the soul/sole founder of the organization is anyone's guess, but I would imagine that it has something to do with power. And up.

The split between K. Pearson Brown and Stacy a few years ago was well-documented. I'm not sure what happened between Amy and Stacy, but I imagine it was something equally uplifting and inspiring, considering the fact that Ms. Shomer too has now been completely removed from the revised history of POWER UP credits.

And then there was one.
