RedMax has introduced a line of power sweepers whose engines meet California's stringent CARB II, as well as EPA EPA eicosapentaenoic acid.

. Both sweepers are powered by RedMax's 25.4 cc Strato-Charged two-cycle engine. This engine meets clean air standards by introducing fresh air into the engine between the exhaust gases Exhaust gas is flue gas which occurs as a result of the combustion of fuels such as natural gas, gasoline/petrol, diesel, fuel oil or coal. It is discharged into the atmosphere through an exhaust pipe or flue gas stack.  and the fresh charge of air/fuel mix. Besides lowering emissions by 74%, the Strato-Charged engine is 34% more fuel efficient than traditional two-cycled engines and weighs 5% less. The RNBZ2500 is equipped with a 21" nylon brush and the RMSZ2500S has a 21" rubber paddlewheel. The brush and paddlewheel are interchangeable between the two units, and other accessories are also available.
