Postcards: letters from readers.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for such a needed publication. I have read it from cover to cover twice and am about to go through it again. It fills a void. Since I prefer not to use the traditional travel agent service, the issue is coming in handy for booking our spring trip to Europe as well as future trips in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. Since I loved your first issue--especially the cover feature on Charleston, S.C.--I would suggest you continue to take readers to out-of-the-way places that may not be typical gay travel hotspots. On many occasions I have found myself looking for Looking for

Thank you for the report on Rosie and Kelli O'Donnell's R Family Vacations. There's hope after all. I've thought a traditional (i.e., straight) cruise would not be right for me and my partner because we wouldn't feel welcome, and an all-gay cruise might be too wild for our tastes. I appreciate the information provided in the article, and I cannot wait until July to go on my first cruise!

I very much enjoyed your article about hiking in the Rockies with Canadian Mountain Holidays. To celebrate our 10th anniversary my partner and I went on a lodge to-lodge heli-hiking trip with Canadian Mountain. In the latter half of our trip I mentioned to our guide that we were celebrating our anniversary. At dinner that evening we were presented with a lovely card signed by staff members and many of them congratulated us in person. I regularly recommend this nongay company to all my gay friends.

I'm writing to both congratulate you and to suggest you check into your sources more carefully. I was delighted to see the Perfect 10 feature with recommendations on Miami Beach Miami Beach, city (1990 pop. 92,639), Dade co., SE Fla., on an island between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean; inc. 1915. Mr. Burly informed us that three guys are going to have a hard time getting into Rumi: "We don't want to look like a sausage factory. It's no problem at a gay club, but we gotta be careful."

Here's to success and recommendations that are always on target!

I like this magazine, is there any way you can cover gay sports? For instance, the midyear and year-end International Gay Bowling Organization tourneys. What about gay golfers across the United States (we have some 60 players in the South Florida area)?
