Positron Corporation (OTCBB:POSC) announced today that it has shipped a Positron mPower HZL(TM) positron emission tomography (PET) scanner to Nishidai Clinic (Diagnostic Imaging Center) in Tokyo. This system sale is the fifth of a previously announced five-unit scanner order sold through its exclusive distributor, Ktec Corporation, in Japan and will be recorded in the Company's second quarter 2002 financial results.
