Assay results from the Adukrom anomaly, the first of a series of five gold-in-soil targets included in the current phase of drilling, have defined a north-northeast trending gold-bearing mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. To convert to a mineral substance; petrify. 2. To transform a metal into a mineral by oxidation. 3. zone, extending 300 meters in length and open in all directions. Fourteen holes, for a total of 840 meters, were completed at 25-meter intervals along three lines spaced 100 meters apart. Gold values, all within the oxide zone, were intersected on all three lines. Values obtained range between 0.6 g/t Au over 35 meters to 0.9 g/t Au over 18.0 meters down to a vertical depth of 40 meters. Within these intersections are higher grade intervals, such as 2.53 g/t Au over 4 meters and 1.62 g/t Au over 5 meters. Birim and its partner, Battle Mountain, will consider following up on these results with additional RC drilling and diamond drilling, the latter with the objective of investigating the persistence of the mineralized structure at depth, within the sulphide zone. The results obtained so far show that a potential for finding a low-grade, heap leachable oxide deposit does exist. Reverse circulation drilling of the remaining targets is proceeding at a quick pace, and is currently on the Akwaboa anomaly where 29 sixty-meter holes are being drilled. The company expects the results to be out in about three to four weeks.
