Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower to go yellow for missing sailor.

 in UK will be illuminated with yellow lights on Father's Day this Sunday to show support for British Royal Navy sailor Timothy Andrew MacColl aka Timmy who has been missing in Dubai since May 26. He was last seen leaving the Rock Bottom Cafe at Hotel Regent Palace in Bur Dubai.

Supporters of the 'Bring Timmy Home' campaign have been spreading word about the 27-year-old Leading Seaman by wearing Bring Timmy Home T-shirts and tying yellow ribbons around trees in his hometown Gosport Gosport (gŏs`pôrt), city (1991 pop. 69,664) and district, Hampshire, S England. The city is a major port and shares its harbor with Portsmouth. There are ship- and yacht-building facilities and various light industries. . And now the Spinaker Tower in historical Portsmouth has also joined the cause. The ribs of the tower will be lit up with yellow lights from 7pm on Sunday, according to Spinaker Tower website.

Earlier, MacColl's policeman relative Neil Cunningham arrived here on Friday to assist in the search. He senior poice officials in Dubai to get an update on the case and also handed them a letter from MacColl's wife Rachel 25, who is expecting their third child in October.

On Monday a press conference where Neil was supposed to address local media was postponed till Tuesday before being cancelled. "We are happy with investigations by Dubai Police. They have been very diligent," Cunningham told XPRESS.
