Porter and Associates Publishing sold to Jones & Bartlett.


Jones and Bartlett Publishers (Sudbury, MA), a producer of media products in such fields as computer science, life science, mathematics, medicine and nursing, among others, has acquired Porter and Associates Publishing (Portland, OR), the producer of series of nursing pocket guides and EMS Protocols. No terms of the deal were given.

With nearly 500,000 copies in print, "Porter's Pocket Guide Series" for the nursing field includes "Porter's Pocket Guide to Nursing," "Porter's Pocket Guide to Pediatrics" and "Porter's Guide to Emergency & Critical Care."
