Its new Priamus Monitor system, housed in a protective case, comes with eight to 16 channels that the user can configure to measure cavity pressure, cavity temperature, and machine or voltage signals. The system also includes the eDAQ process-monitoring software, which provides a number of real-time control Real-time control is a popular term for a certain class of digital controllers. For effective digital control, it is critical that sample time be constant. Real-time control achieves nearly constant sample time. See also

Priamus also introduced new line of quick-connect/ disconnect cavity-pressure and temperature sensors (pictured) that are installed in the cavity insert of a mold. Typically, the sensors are installed in the mold platen itself. In the new design, the mold inserts can be mounted and dismounted with a simple plug connection while the sensors remain in the mold insert. The sensors stay safely packed in the mold insert, even after dismounting. Also, this allows mold inserts with different sensor positions to be used without changing positions of the quick connects.
