Polyols from castor oil.

Polycin GR series polyols are solely derived from the components of castor oil castor oil, yellowish oil obtained from the seed of the castor bean. The oil content of the seeds varies from about 20% to 50%. After the hulls are removed the seeds are cold-pressed. , making them the first completely natural, renewable seed-based series of polyols for the urethane urethane (yoor´ithān´),

industry, specifically targeted at the coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers (CASE) market segment. For the first time, polyols derived only from castor oil can be used to produce tough coatings, and are also formulated to produce flexible adhesives, soft sealants and elastomers. The Polycin GR series of polyols is said to continue the long history of castor oil in the polyurethane polyurethane
