Polymer characterization.

A range of high performance detectors, software and systems is available for characterization of polymers, proteins and nanoparticles. The company is said to be a global leader in gel permeation chromatography Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is a separation technique based on hydrodynamic volume (size in solution). Molecules are separated from one another based on differences in molecular size. This technique is often used for polymer molecular weight determination.  (GPC (1) A PC that uses the Linux-based gOS operating system. See gOS.

(2) (GPC Group) Originally the Graphics Performance Characterization committee of the NCGA, the GPC Group is now part of Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC) and oversees the following
)/size exclusion chromatography (SEC) detectors, software and systems for the characterization of polymers, copolymers, proteins, protein conjugates and nanoparticles. In a single experiment, researchers can use the company's patented static light scattering Static light scattering is a technique in physical chemistry that uses the intensity traces at a number of angles to derive information about the radius of gyration , molecular mass , dynamic light scattering Dynamic light scattering (also known as Photon Correlation Spectroscopy) is a powerful technique in physics, which can be used to determine the size distribution profile of small s in solution. , viscometer, triple detector and tetra detector technologies to obtain absolute molecular weight, molecular size, intrinsic viscosity, conformation, structure, branching, aggregation and copolymer composition. Triple detection systems, which employ a concentration detector, viscometer and light scattering detector operating in concert, are said to be the defacto standard for the characterization of natural and synthetic polymers and proteins in the petrochemical, specialty chemical, elastomer, adhesives, coatings and other markets. The Model 802 DLS with OmniSize 2.0 software is said to include a unique regularization reg·u·lar·ize
