Polyacrylate elastomers.

HyTemp polyacrylate elastomers (ACMs) are said to be ideally suited for applications requiring long-term performance in severe temperature and fluid environments. HyTemp and Nipol AR can be compounded to withstand an impressive temperature range of -40[degrees]C to 200[degrees]C. Long-term oil resistance and low compression set are said to be where HyTemp and Nipol AR excel. Both are said to have excellent resistance to petroleum and synthetic-based oils, including motor oil and transmission fluid. The balance of low-temperature performance and oil resistance is determined by the ratio of various acrylate Noun 1. acrylate - a salt or ester of propenoic acid

monomers. A wide range of HyTemp and Nipol AR grades is available, including the newest HT-ACMs, HyTemp AR12 and HyTemp AR212HR, which are said to offer outstanding compression stress relaxation Stress relaxation describes how polymers relieve stress under constant strain. Because they are viscoelastic, polymers behave in a nonlinear, non-Hookean fashion.[1]  in high temperature environments. Polyacrylates can be processed using all common methods, including compression and transfer molding Transfer molding, like compression molding, is a process where the amount of molding material (usually a thermoset plastic) is measured and inserted before the moulding takes place. The molding material is preheated and loaded into a chamber known as the pot. , injection molding injection molding
