Politicians support anti-family agenda.Politicians present at Toronto's vulgar Gay Pride Parade (June 29, 2008) Leftist politicians participate in Gay Pride Parades to show their endorsement of the homosexual lifestyle and the drive for equality. It is an affirmation of their rejection of the traditional family, divinely established marriage, age-old customs, and of the Christian religion. (Their rejection also mocks the traditional customs of other religions, of course, but Christianity and, especially Catholicism, is their first target because that is their most important opponent here in Canada.) So here they are: From the NDP: * Leader Jack Layton (Toronto Danforth) and his wife, Olivia Chow (MP Trinity-Spadina) together with a large contingent of NDPers * Peggy Nash (MP Parkdale-High Park) * Former president of federal NDP, Adam Giambrone, now Toronto Councillor for public transport From the Green Party: * Elizabeth May, Leader * Chris Tindal (candidate for Toronto Centre) From the Liberal Party:. * Michael Ignatieff (MP Etobicoke-Lakeshore), Deputy Leader * Bob Rae (MP Toronto Centre), former Ontario NDP leader, 1982-1996, with a large crowd of Ontario young Liberals * Gerard Kennedy, former Liberal leadership candidate * Dalton McGuinty, (provincial riding of Ottawa South), Premier of Ontario * Mario Silva (MP Davenport) * Carolyn Bennett ( MP St. Paul's) * Borys Wrzesnewskyj (MP Toronto Etobicoke Centre) * In Quebec, Stephane Dion, (MP, St Laurent-Cartierville) Leader of the Opposition; marched in Montreal's Gay Pride Parade From the Tories: * John Tory, Ontario Leader of the Progressive Conservatives * Also present at Toronto's Gay Pride Parade was Brent Hawkes, self-appointed leader (so-called senior pastor) of the Metropolitan Community so-called Church, a self-established enterprise with no connection to true Christianity. It exists only to affirm lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people. Hawkes regularly wears a Roman collar and Catholic-like vestments so as to further deceive people that it is a Christian religion with true spiritual values. As far as one can see, the religion of these politicians is that of atheism or its slightly milder form, agnosticism. Agnosticism does not deny the existence of God, but assumes that one needs to pay Him no attention. Dalton McGuinty, for example, although baptized and raised a Catholic, has made it amply clear on a number of occasions that neither the Pope nor Church teaching can tell him what to do. He fully endorses abortion, same-sex "marriage," human "rights" created on the spot out of temporary needs, "gay" adoption, and almost managed to abolish the Lord's Prayer in the Ontario legislature. (It now shares that role with prayers from other religions) [Photo's can be viewed at: http://blog.macleans.ca/200 8/07/16/mps-at-toronto-gay-pride/] BY FR. ALPHONSE DE VALK, CSB |
