Policy corruptions at external affairs.Ottawa -- Thanks to the bias of mainstream media, few Canadians are aware of Canada's virulently anti-life, anti-family agenda at the United Nations. But thanks also to the indefatigable efforts of REAL Women of Canada REAL Women of Canada is a socially conservative lobby group in Canada. The organization was founded in 1983. REAL stands for "Realistic, Equal, Active, for Life". The group believes that the family is the most important unit in Canadian society, and that the fragmentation of and Campaign Life Coalition, Canadians have a window on the activities of Canada's otherwise nameless, faceless bureaucrats at the United Nations. Catholic Insight has carried reports on the U.N. from them in the past. At an Ottawa briefing in February 2004 to familiarize NGOs with upcoming issues at a Human Rights Commission meeting in Geneva Geneva, canton and city, Switzerland Geneva (jənē`və), Fr. Genève, canton (1990 pop. 373,019), 109 sq mi (282 sq km), SW Switzerland, surrounding the southwest tip of the Lake of Geneva. , REAL Women came face to face with the movers and shakers of Canada's agenda at the U.N.: the homosexual lobby group EGALE EGALE Equality for Gays And Lesbians Everywhere (Canada) (Equality for Gays and Lesbians Everywhere), the lesbian-headed group Action Canada for Population and Development, the feminist-led Native Women's Association of Canada The Native Women's Association of Canada, or NWAC, is an organization in Canada that represents Aboriginal women, particularly First Nations and Métis women.[1] Inuit women are represented by the separate organization, Pauktuutit. , and ARC International, a homosexual organization, among Foreign Affairs officials. Bill Graham, Canada's "bisexual" Foreign Affairs Minister, stated that Canada would be lobbying behind the scenes at the Geneva meeting for the sexual orientation resolution. Sabine Nolke, deputy director, Human Rights and Economic Law Division, stated, "[We will] do our best in Geneva to advance this issue." At a meeting in 2001, Canada's representative, Andras Vamos-Goldman, stated that "reproductive health services" does indeed mean abortion. In March 2004, Canada's ambassador to the U.N., Gilbert Laurin, called for a full range of "sexual reproductive rights for all, including adolescents." He went on to urge all countries to improve access to abortion. In April 2004 at the Geneva Human Rights Commission, Canadian Henri-Paul Normandin, an official with Foreign Affairs, recommended "full recognition of the need for abortion services and the acceptance of homosexuality" at a committee meeting whose topic was supposed to be terrorism. Other members of the Canadian bureaucracy, and NGOs who speak for Canada abroad and also push anti-family policies, include John yon Kaufmann of Foreign Affairs, lesbian Katherine McDonald, who heads the Canadian Society for International Health, and Lisa Lachance, board member of the lobby group EGALE, and policy advisor on child rights at CIDA CIDA Canadian International Development Agency CIDA Council for Interior Design Accreditation (Grand Rapids, MI) CIDA Centro de Información Documental de Archivos CiDA Certificate in Digital Applications (Reality Magazine, May/June 2004). Conservative Party MP Maurice Vellacott (Saskatoon-Wanuweskin) pointed out that once again a judge ignored the federal law of the land which still upholds marriage as it has been recognized from time immemorial. In November, Conservative MP for Fundy-Royal (N.B.), Rob Moore introduced Private Member's Bill private member's bill Noun a law proposed by a Member of Parliament who is not a government minister C-268 upholding the traditional definition of marriage (LifeSiteNews). The purpose of the bill, he said, was to force Parliament to act, rather than leaving it to the courts to decide. The bill was drawn fourth from 240 entries; therefore making it eligible for debate in Parliament. The Toronto Star's Ottawa correspondent, James Travers just couldn't believe that progress, begun by Pierre Trudeau in 1982, could now be turned back (Nov. 16, 2004). On November 11, the Newfoundland government would not contest a "same-sex marriage" challenge launched by two lesbians because the federal government had refused to defend traditional marriage in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan. On November 17, Muslim parents at the downtown Market Lane Toronto public school demanded that their children be exempt from what the board calls "anti-homophobia education," but which the parents recognize as indoctrination in·doc·tri·nate tr.v. in·doc·tri·nat·ed, in·doc·tri·nat·ing, in·doc·tri·nates 1.
