Police seek leads on man who died.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who was found Thursday on the Amazon Park Bike Path.

The body was found at 7 p.m. by a passer-by on the path just west of Acorn Park Acorn Park is a park in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland that features an acorn-shaped gazebo. It was constructed in 1842[1], and is thought to be the location of the mica-flecked spring that Silver Spring is named after.[2] References

The man is described as a white male in his late 40s, about 6 feet tall and weighing between 210 to 225 pounds. He had short, wavy, light-brown hair, a receding hair line and a scruffy, light-brown beard. He had no significant scars, marks or tattoos, Herbert said.

He was wearing a white golf cap with the words `Industry Hills' (which is the name of a golf course in Industry, Calif.), a navy blue fleece jacket, blue jeans blue jeans also blue·jeans

. The man was fairly lightly dressed and carried no identification, but he did not appear to have been robbed, Herbert said.

Based on circumstances at the scene, investigators believe that the victim was returning to his home in the area after a stop at the store. Numerous apartments are in that part of Eugene.
