Police hold legal rights lecture for detainees.


Dubai: Police's Human Rights department organised a lecture for detainees at the Al Rashidiyah Police Station to educate them about their legal rights and duties. Major Obaid Bin Hudaibah, head of Humanitarian Services Humanitarian Services is an arm of the LDS Philanthropies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The organization's humanitarian aims are to aid impoverished families worldwide in becoming self-reliant, healthy, and educated as well as provide aid in emergency  in the department, said the department often organises such lectures at all police stations to raise awareness amongst detainees while educating them about their legal rights and duties whilst in detention The act of keeping back, restraining, or withholding, either accidentally or by design, a person or thing.
