Polaris Donates to National Disaster-Relief Fund.

Polaris Industries today announced a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross National Disaster Relief Fund to assist victims of natural and other disasters in their time of need.

In October 2001, Polaris pledged to donate proceeds from the sale of its Freedom Series all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) built in late 2001 and sold in the first half of 2002, to the American Red Cross. The ATVs featured red, white and blue graphics, and all models sold out rapidly. The donation is being made on behalf of all Polaris dealers, customers and 3,600 employees across the United States and Canada.

"We've been very fortunate to receive millions of dollars in donations to assist people affected by all disasters and tragedies we face on an ongoing basis," said Lori Keller-Bents, Director of Development, American Red Cross - Minneapolis Area Chapter.
