SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- The NAND flash-based mModule uDOC storage solution from msystems (Nasdaq:FLSH), a leader in smart personal storage, is helping to increase reliability and performance and decrease total cost of ownership (TCO) within point-of-sale (POS) systems now available from leading manufacturers.

One such manufacturer, Atlanta-based Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS), has integrated msystems' 512-megabyte mModule uDOC as the solid state storage solution within its P1220 hardware terminal product line. The latest addition to Radiant's line of open POS terminals, the P1220 terminal includes a standard Intel(R) architecture, cable management and more peripheral ports than typical terminals of its size.
