The slide show (minus the audio) can be saved to a floppy disk and sent to relatives as cards or gifts, or brought to work to be displayed. It will run from Windows or DOS without the need for the original Aartvark program.

System Requirements To be used efficiently, all computer software needs certain hardware components or other software resources to be present on a computer system. These pre-requisites are known as (computer) system requirements and are often used as a guideline as opposed to an absolute rule.

The suggested retail price for Aartvark is $39.95 and will be available in late-January through traditional computer and software retailers or direct from Millennium (for orders, call 1-800-U WANT IT).

Millennium Titles

Aartvark, the second of many new CD-ROM titles to be released by Millennium bearing the Electri-CD(TM) logo, is being simultaneously announced at C.E.S. with Millennium's third title, Merriam-Webster's(R) Word War 5(TM). Millennium announced the availability of its first title, Diggers Diggers, members of a small English religio-economic movement (fl. 1649–50), so called because they attempted to dig (i.e., cultivate) the wastelands. They were an offshoot of the more important group of Puritan extremists known as the Levelers. (TM), in December 1994. The company has an aggressive product distribution schedule, and plans to release four new titles by the end of the first quarter and as many as 18 titles by the end of 1995.
