D-Squared Fall/Winter 1997/98 Men's Fashion Shows

Playboy Magazine will be the featured background artwork for the runway presentation of Italian design firm D-Squared's 1997/98 fall/winter collection at the Milan Men's Wear Shows.

A huge back-drop featuring 100 blown-up Playboy covers from the 70's will complement the "flavor" of the run-way show which is to be held today at 2:00 p.m. at Via Forcella, 13.

D-Squared, designed by the twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, chose to use Playboy for the show to vividly portray por·tray

D-Squared's internationally recognized fashion shows are known for their expressive and striking themes. Past themes include "Canada," for which an "indoor forest" was created, and "Napoli," which included a painted back-drop by Italian artist Alessandro Camera featuring a typical street scene. This season's Milan Men's Wear Shows take place from Jan. 12 - 16 and include the top Italian-based men's wear designers in addition to D-Squared.
