3. Mr. Shawn attended opening night and was thrilled with the

-- "Because He Lives," A Gospel Play presented by Oakland's Perfect
Peace Church on Sunday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m. This is a repeat
of the smash success from June.

James, masters of illusion and spook.
-- Peter Winch and Company on November 20 Saturday eve and 21st

-- The Splash Circus presenting "Fools in Metropolis." Thanksgiving
weekend (November 26-27th). A tribe of clowns gets their first
visit to San Francisco with the aide of juggling, acrobatics,
aerialists, and contortionists.
-- "The Nutcracker" is presented by The Berkeley Ballet from
December 10-12 and 17-19.
-- "Amahl and The Night Visitors," by Goat Hall Productions.
Supported by a 25-piece orchestra this is a great start to the
holiday cheer with shows running from December 3rd to December
5th.
-- "A Christmas Carol," by Charles Dickens' is presented by The
Julia Morgan Theater Rats between December 21 and 23rd.
-- Santa Claus will be making special appearances from December
21-24th at The Julia Morgan.
-- Comedian Will Durst will be bringing the house down on December
