Plaxo Contact Management Now Available for Apple's Mac OS X; Release Represents Major Step Toward Plaxo's Vision of a ''Universal Address Book''.


MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Plaxo(R), Inc., creator of the Universal Address Book that keeps millions of members in touch with their friends, colleagues, and information, today announced the public beta of the company's popular contact management software for Apple's Mac OS X. With the new Plaxo for Mac, users of Mac OS X v10.3 "Panther" and Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger" can synchronize their Mac address book with their Plaxo address book to maintain up-to-date contact information. Plaxo for Mac allows Mac users to synchronize home and work computers, providing secure access to their information from anywhere, via any web-enabled device.
