The new release includes the Accounts Receivable accounts receivable n. the amounts of money due or owed to a business or professional by customers or clients. Generally, accounts receivable refers to the total amount due and is considered in calculating the value of a business or the business' problems in paying  and Accounts Payable modules, in addition to increased functionality and feature enhancements, such as customization capabilities, pre-loading of historical data, and increased security.

The new modules complete the Platinum for Windows core financial accounting solution, providing small to medium-sized businesses with a complete, high-performance LAN-based system.

Faster Data Entry and Enhanced Security

In addition to the new modules, Platinum for Windows Version 4.3 offers a number of enhancements that provide faster data entry, including the pre-loading of transactions via the "Find Historical Information" button. This button, which has been added to the Voucher A receipt or release which provides evidence of payment or other discharge of a debt, often for purposes of reimbursement, or attests to the accuracy of the accounts.  Entry, Debit A monetary amount that is subtracted from an account balance. , and Credit Memo A Credit Memo (short for "credit memorandum") is a commercial document issued by a seller to a buyer, indicating the products, quantities and agreed prices for products or services that the seller provided the buyer with, but the buyer returned or did not receive.  Entry screens, enables users to create a new transaction based on posted transactions. For example, when entering a debit memo from a vendor, the original voucher can be recalled and used as a guide for the new debit memo.

Platinum for Windows 4.3 also increases the speed and ease with which users can modify their system to match the way they do business, allowing for quicker information input. Users can modify screens to create templates for entering transaction documents, and can assign these templates to select user groups, companies, or globally, thereby providing security along with flexibility.

Platinum advanced its development process using an object-oriented approach for Platinum for Windows. Platinum's unique Data Driven Objects (DDO DDO - Dynamic Drive Overlay ) enable the major advances in the product starting from its initial 4.1 release through the latest 4.3 release. Advances such as email distribution of reports and data entry templates have been made available to all prior versions using these objects.
