Plastics 'are fantastic'.

STEPPER IS famous for 'plastic' frames, but the company wishes to highlight that there is more to the frames than just the material they are made from. "Innovations in design, processes and manufacture have allowed the company to advance with frame styling in ways that were unthinkable before," said managing director Richard Crook.

The 'plastic' element that the company uses is TX5, which is said to have significant benefits over conventional plastic. For example the intricate colouring on the Si 273 (pictured) and the clever way the TX5 combines with the titanium, detailing which is synonymous with the Stepper brand.

"Ladies plastic styles are in great demand," added Mr Crook. "Sales are now at an all time record in the UK as well as worldwide."
