Planning Sciences Names McDonnell Douglas Latest Addition To Growing Customer Base.

Commercial Aircraft Division To Use Gentia For Decision Support

Planning Sciences Inc., the world leader in enterprise decision support solutions, today announced that McDonnell Douglas McDonnell Douglas was a major American aerospace manufacturer and defense contractor, producing a number of famous commercial and military aircraft. (NASDAQ: JAVA[3]) is an American vendor of computers, computer components, computer software, and information-technology services, founded on 24 February 1982.  has chosen to license 400 seats of Planning Sciences Gentia solution. Currently, Douglas Aircraft -- located in Long Beach, CA -- has chosen to use Gentia internally for planning and analysis and will initially license 200 seats. In this deal, the Gentia solution was chosen over Oracle's Express Objects and Seagate's Holos Holos is an influential OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) product of the 1990s.
