Although NCPG was formed in 1988 as a federation of planned giving councils, its mission has primarily been carried out through the education and training of individual gift planners. NCPG will continue to provide services to its 110 local planned giving councils and will encourage individuals to join their local council. Governance of NCPG will continue to be conducted by delegates from the planned giving councils, and membership in a planned giving council will be required for participation on NCPG's Board of Directors and committees.

Individual memberships will be phased-in over a one-year period. Additional information about NCPG's new class of members will be available soon on NCPG's web site at www.ncpg.org or by contacting NCPG at (317) 269-6274 or by email at ncpg@iupui.edu.
