PlanetGov Inc. Announces D/SIDDOMS III Award.

PlanetGov Inc. announced today that it was recently awarded a Department of Defense Systems Integration, Design, Development, Operations, and Maintenance Services III (D/SIDDOMS D/SIDDOMS Design, Development, Operations and Maintenance Services
D/SIDDOMS Defense Medical Information Systems/Systems Integration, Design Development, Operations and Maintenance Services (US DoD contract) 
 III) contract. The multiple-award D/SIDDOMS III contracts provide the DOD (1) (Dial On Demand) A feature that allows a device to automatically dial a telephone number. For example, an ISDN router with dial on demand will automatically dial up the ISP when it senses IP traffic destined for the Internet.  Military Health System (MHS (1) (Message Handling Service) An earlier messaging system from Novell that supported multiple operating systems and other messaging protocols, including SMTP, SNADS and X.400. It used the SMF-71 messaging format. ) and the Department of Veterans Affairs the ability to issue individual task orders for a variety of information technology services. The total value of the contract award is estimated at approximately $8 billion over ten years.

PlanetGov has been working within the DOD Military Health System for the last five years. Its current prime contracts include TIMPO LAN (Local Area Network) A communications network that serves users within a confined geographical area. The "clients" are the user's workstations typically running Windows, although Mac and Linux clients are also used.  Upgrade, TIMPO Network Engineer Specialists, and RITPO Workload Management System for Nursing (WMSN). It is also providing subcontractor work on RITPO DMRHSi Implementation and Training and RITPO Enterprise-wide Scheduling and Registration Systems Integration.
