Plane makes emergency landing at Delhi Airport.

New Delhi, Feb. 1 (ANI): An Indigo E 664 Goa-Delhi flight had to make a "priority landing" on Sunday evening when an inebriated inebriated (i·nēˑ·brē·āˈ·td),
adj intoxicated.
 passenger created a major scene on board after getting into a tiff with a flight staff.

The passenger was reportedly demanding to be served liquor, which was refused by the in flight staff citing rules that do not allow anyone even to carry alcohol in luggage.

But the argument led to fracas with the staff and some passengers, following which the pilot asked the drunk man to behave which the latter refused and threatened the staff.

Sensing the person going out of control, just when he threatened to hijack, the pilot opted to send a distress call to the ATC (Air Traffic Control) seeking permission for a priority landing.

The plane was brought down at the Indira Gandhi International Airport Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport (IATA: DEL, ICAO: VIDP), located in the city of New Delhi, Delhi is one of India's main domestic and international gateways.  and taken to an isolated place away from both the runways. The individual was detained and was being questioned till 7.30 in the evening.

Other flight operations were brought to normal, though some of the flights were delayed for a short time.

The security of the planes at the airport is handled by the CISF CISF Central Industrial Security Force (India)

 (Central Industrial Security Force). But the NSG (National Security Guard) and Delhi Police's quick response team were called on the Airport.

However, the Indigo Airlines has maintained that all the passengers on board were safe. (ANI)
