Pivot-down bag filler.A bulk bag filler that features a pivot-down fill head has been introduced by Flexicon Corporation, Bethlehem, PA. This new design enables operators to connect empty bags at floor level and resume filling operations within one minute, eliminating the need to climb steps or reach overhead connection points, or risk injury with operation of conventional bulk bag fillers. The patent-applied-for design, named the Swing-Down[TM] bulk bag filler, simultaneously lowers and pivots the fill head, stopping in a vertically oriented position that places the bag inlet spout inflatable connection, inflator in·flate v. in·flat·ed, in·flat·ing, in·flates v.tr. 1.
