Pittsburgh-Marquette challenge at Student Conclave and AASIG.

Mike Smoker, University of Pittsburgh, along with Marquette University 2004 student coordinators Shelly Wyrick and Ryan Bertapelle, will participate in a Concurrent Session at tire National Student Conclave, October 24-26, 2003, in Milwaukee, Wis. Smoker will describe how the University of Pittsburgh organizes their CEU series and will give pointers to other schools interested in joining the Challenge and hosting their own CEU series. Wyrick and Bertapelle will discuss other successful fundraising ideas. It is appropriate that the students kickoff the Pittsburgh-Marquette Challenge in Milwaukee this year as the Challenge began there in 1989. Anthony Delitto, PT, PhD, FAPTA, University of Pittsburgh, who plans to attend the 2003 Academic Administrators Special Interest Group, Saturday, October 4, in San Antonio, Tex, will discuss the importance of faculty support for the Challenge and ways to assist student fundraising endeavors. Students and program directors are strongly encouraged to participate in these important sessions.
