(AMEX AMEX See: American Stock Exchange :PDM), announced today that it has been awarded $24 million in contracts to design and build multiple oil and gas facilities at seven locations in Southeast Texas Southeast Texas is a subregion of East Texas located in the southeast corner of the U.S. state of Texas. The subregion is geographically centered around the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown and Beaumont–Port Arthur metropolitan areas. . The contracts include the following projects: -0-
-- Seven floating roof tanks and two pressure spheres at Fina's
refinery in Port Arthur.
-- Five floating roof tanks at the world's largest liquid steam
cracker adjacent to Fina's Port Arthur refinery. The steam
cracker is a joint venture between BASF and Fina Petrochemicals,
and is being developed by ABB Lummus Global.
-- A wet seal gas holder for a Rohm and Haas chemical plant in Deer
Park.
-- Two storage tanks at Chevron facilities in Beaumont and Baytown.
Bechtel is developing these projects.
-- Two floating roof tanks at an Arco facility in Jones Creek. o
Eight storage tanks for a Fluor Daniel facility at Chocolate
Bayou.
