Alex Buel hit a walk-off, two-run double down the right-field line to cap a four-run seventh inning for the Pirates (14-5, 6-3 SWCL SWCL Special Warfare Craft, Light

 East).

Grafton (10-7, 4-5) got doubles from Matt Chouinard and Mark Bradshaw.

Algonquin 10, Shrewsbury 1

Graham Henningson had three hits, including a three-run homer in the first inning that sparked the top-ranked Tomahawks (13-2, 7-1) to a Mid-Wach A victory.

The visiting Indians (12-4) got a combined 16 points from attackmen Charlie Loken, Josh Graham Josh Graham, (born 1 October 1983 in Taree, New South Wales, Australia) is a former rugby union player with the Western Force and current Australian Rugby League player. He plays the position of Centre for the Gold Coast Titans.  and Kyle Biancardi, while sophomore goalie John Agbey notched 14 saves in his first varsity start.

Steve Ek scored twice for Nashoba (10-4).

GIRLS' LACROSSE

St. Peter-Marian 10, Grafton 8

Sophomore Lindsey Maynard led the host Guardians (6-7-1) with five points (four goals) in the victory, while Mikaela McSharry added two goals.

The Indians (6-3-1) got two goals each from Emily Anderson Emily Anderson, OBE (March 1891 - October 1962) was a British Foreign Office official and scholar of German.

She was born in Galway, Ireland, the daughter of Alexander Anderson, president of Queens College Galway. Ms.
 and Stephanie Reily.

GIRLS' TRACK

Millbury 103, Northbridge 33

Junior Kirsten Orell shattered her own school record in the shot put, tossing 40 feet, 10 inches, as the host Woolies (9-3) beat the Rams (3-6).

Orell's previous best was 38-7 last year.

Shepherd Hill record

Freshman Shana McGonigle set a school record in the 200 meters with a time of 27.2 as the Rams won a three-way meet with Auburn and Grafton.

Auburn's Hill Breckenridge won four events - the high jump, triple jump, 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles.

Hudson Catholic 77, Valley Tech 53

Junior Jessica Jarrard set the Hudson Catholic record in the 800 with a time of 2:33.00. She also holds school records in the mile and 2 mile.
