Pipe calibrator can change wall thickness.

A new adjustable calibration calibration /cal·i·bra·tion/ (kal?i-bra´shun) determination of the accuracy of an instrument, usually by measurement of its variation from a standard, to ascertain necessary correction factors.  sleeve from Inoex in Lancaster, Pa., can change pipe OD and wall thickness over the full range of pressure categories for one nominal pipe size Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) is a set of standard pipe sizes used for pressure piping in North America. The same pipe dimensions are used with different names in Europe. It is often incorrectly called National Pipe Size, due to confusion with National pipe thread.  without interrupting production. Called MaxFlexx, it also adjusts wall thickness to accommodate materials with different die swell. MaxFlexx is a byproduct by·prod·uct or by-prod·uct

thoracic inlet  the elliptical opening at the summit of the thorax.
size and ability to increase pipe OD by up to 100%. MaxFlexx, instead, has a static inlet size and can increase pipe OD by only 8%. MaxFlexx calibration sleeves start below $10,000 and can be built for any pipe diameter from 1.25 in. up to 16 in. Tel: (717) 672-0970 * PT Direct 114FB
