Spotted horse, also called paint, piebald, skewbald, and other terms to describe variations in colour and markings. The American Indian ponies of the western U.S. were often pintos. Most pure-breed associations refuse to register horses with pinto colouring.

Their new piece premieres in "Program 3: Borderless Innovation" at The Joyce Theater The Joyce Theater is a 472-seat dance performance venue located in the Chelsea area of the borough of Manhattan in New York City. The Joyce Theater Foundation, the organization founded in 1982 that operates the theater, also owns the Joyce SoHo dance center located in a  during the company's annual summer stint. The program also includes Michael Tracy's sextet Acquatica, with its water imagery, and Jonathan Wolken's early solo, Pseudopodia. The Barnett/Pinto/Pollak collaboration, says Barnett, evolved from "mixing it up in the Pilobolus way," which no doubt includes their hallmark hallmark, mark impressed on silverwork or goldwork to signify official approval of the standard of purity of the metal, also called plate mark. The hallmark was introduced by statute in England in 1300 and enforced by the Goldsmiths' Hall, London.  bearing and sharing of weight. July 16-Aug. 11.
